But, hey! At least I am link baiting for a good cause! This blog is non-profit, my friends! You know what else is non-profit? Charity! You know who gets charity? Children with cancer who need an extra life. How can you give children with cancer an extra life? Why, lookie here, there is an event that starts at 8AM tomorrow that does just that:
As you can see from the above and from the overfilled thermometer on the right hand side of my blog, I blasted past my goal! WHICH IS AWESOME. Thank you so much to everyone who donated and/or supported me through my fundraising efforts. I want you all to know that you made the world a better place and possibly gave a sick kid the chance at life. Always remember what an amazing thing you did. Always.
The actual Extra Life event is tomorrow (Saturday 10/19/12) starting at 8AM and I'll be spamming my Twitter like crazy with updates for the entire 24 hours!
My team is only at 40% of our goal, so I'd love to keep raising money and see how far we can go. If I make it to $750 raised, I will play two hours of Dance Central and live stream it for your entertainment! I will try to have other fun stuff and goals going on, so be sure to tune in!
If the fact that I've exceeded my goal makes you uncomfortable and you'd rather give elsewhere, I know a lot of great people who haven't hit their goals yet (as of this blog post) like Jonny (ok, he reached his goal as I was typing this, but I'll link to him anyway lol), Anthony, Erin, Tracy-Mark, David, and I'm sure others who I just haven't seen their links!
