And I was like, holy crap, that looks awesome and I could totally make it. So I did!
Mine is toasted 45 calorie white bread by Sara Lee, Walden Farms calorie free Chipotle Mayo, two slices of John Morrell smoky maple bacon each cut in half so there's four pieces, four slices of a Roma tomato, and three chunky slices of a Haas avocado.
Even with eating the rest of the slices of the avocado (Beau and I each ate an entire half of one), the whole thing winds up being only 340 calories! Not bad for a delicious pseudo gourmet sandwich!

calorie free mayo? My mind is boggled! I had no idea this existed. Is it any good?
ReplyDeleteI would recommend it as a good spread for a sandwich, but not as a substitute for actual mayo, lol. It had a great sweet Chipotle tasted, but there wasn't a lot of actual mayo taste behind it. So if you're looking for a healthy alternative spread with good flavor, definitely go pick one of the flavors of this stuff up. If you're looking specifically for a healthy alternative to mayo that tastes like mayo though, well, I have yet to find it.
Delete*taste ...and also I can't edit comments. Oh well. It's early for a Sunday. XD
DeleteOMG. I'm just now catching up on my blog-reading and now I want a BLAT.
