So. Rubber. Let me just give you this short description from IMDB: "When Robert, a tire, discovers his destructive telepathic powers, he soon sets his sights on a desert town; in particular, a mysterious woman becomes his obsession."
I know, right?! Why would we not watch a movie about this?!
The start of the movie is probably one of the best I've ever seen. There is a completely random lead up, a dude comes out and talks about how things happen in movies for no reason, and then we get underway. From there we see Robert the tire sort of being born and growing; and then he learns he can explode things. Lots of things explode, including heads.
I am unclear as to whether the fourth wall is being broken or if it's a movie within a movie...but not really?
Anyway, the movie is pretty fun. It is extremely slow, but when stuff happens, it is usually hilarious and awesome. I would recommend it to anyone who likes super kooky meta movies that make absolutely no sense on purpose.
