the Avengers (no spoilers)

We finally went to see the Avengers today! Needless to say everyone who says it is an awesome movie is right. It was fantastic! 

Best part of the movie: Oh. Mah. Gah. The Hulk. They could not have done a better job with either him or Banner. Just brilliant. 

Black Widow was very well played too. I enjoyed the way they utilized her manipulative way of tricking people into giving her information. Though I have to admit, since I know a little bit about her comic background I was entirely ready for the betrayal at any moment. I doubt it'll come though, since they haven't indicated Hydra is still around and it also would have been one hellovah complication when it came to baddies. 

The movie is full of hilarious one liners that keeps a pretty steady line of laughter throughout. The pacing is perfect and the writing is amazing. Seriously, awesome movie. I imagine I'm just preaching to the choir right now as you have all likely beat me to it. 

After seeing it I am kinda amazed at all the retarded "this is what your girlfriend needs to know to watch Avengers" and "blah blah women and comics" posts I've seen floating around. It's just a good movie, comic fan or not, female or male. My friend Brittany wouldn't know the difference between the Hulk and Batman and would probably guess they were holding hands in the same universe and yet she absolutely loved it. So, my message to stupid people: get your heads out of your asses and quit it with the click bait. 

Final thoughts: stay after the credits, naturally. And...I love you Agent Coulson. So much.
