Holy gaming conventions, Batman! PAX is next week!!

I can't believe how close it is! My PAX preparation is no where near complete. This year I had so many plans, I think I forgot to get started on a few of them!

Plus the Omegathon is looming over my head. It's going to be an incredible experience, but it's already stressful! I don't want to let anyone down! In my time honored tradition of not being stressed out about life in general, I am trying to keep my training chill but still going strong. Thank you again for all the support!

For the record - all the Omeganauts are win and a half! I am already getting to know a handful of them from Twitter, the Forums, and IRC. In the end it makes things easier knowing that I have an amazing group of people with me up on that stage. No matter what happens, it will all have been worth it.

Speaking of IRC, Yamara made me a hilarious t-shirt based on Dee's idea to have this horrid picture of me glaring pasted across his chest. The original picture would have been really funny, but admittedly, I am quite fond of how the drawn version turned out:

- Win the Omegathon
- Still be alive and sane on Monday, September 7th

There is so much more than that, but these are the things prevalent on my mind at the moment.

I'm also trying to figure out a good way to blog during PAX. I'm not going to be able to afford an iPhone or netbook in the next week, which leaves me less than mobile with blogging platforms. I'll have Juno (my laptop) with me, but she's a little bulky. Hopefully the internet will think of a good solution. There's no way I'm not going to be trying to chronicle every second of my experience as an Omeganaut. I'm considering an easy dumbphone platform like tumblr or posterous, but I need something that feeds into my blogger...any ideas before I hit up Google?


I think that's all for now! I can't wait to see everyone! Three days isn't long enough! Who else votes we extend PAX to at least two weeks?!


PS: PAX passes are sold out for realz this time! You can still buy the one days for a limited time, but I wouldn't count on purchasing any tickets at the door!
